ONGOING CAREER COACHING:
An interview with Abigail, a marketing professional in London, UK
“Pam helped me with my experience gaps… gave me heaps of confidence. Pam inspired me to apply for roles which resulted in me getting a dream job, with a significant title and salary increase. I could not be happier! “
How did you feel before working with Pam? What were the biggest issues you were facing?
I knew I had gaps in my professional experience and knowledge, which made me anxious when interviewing as I feared being exposed. Additionally, at my role at the time I had next to no guidance and could not figure out if it was detrimental for my progression or not, I felt stuck.
What fears or hesitations did you have?
I was looking for a coach for a while and knew that I needed to find someone who would understand the field that I was in (marketing), as well as a fit for my personality. I really struck gold with Pam!
What other solutions had you tried to solve these issues? How did it go?
I tried reading books and connecting with other product marketers, but it didn't resolve my underlying doubts about myself and didn't address the very specific questions I had.
What changed after working with Pam?
Pam helped me with my experience gaps, revealed them not to be at all as great as I imagined and create a work plan to tackle them. This lifted the anxiety I had and gave me heaps of confidence. Furthermore, she made me see the issues with my role at the time and the severity of them as well as to recognise my own potential. Pam inspired me to apply for roles which resulted in me getting a dream job, with a significant title and salary increase. I could not be happier!
What was the best thing about working with Pam?
I can feel Pam really cares about me and always looks out for ways to help me achieve my goals. It's so empowering! To feel such strong support and have someone consistently cheer and guide me!
Would you recommend Pam to a friend, and if so, what would you tell them?
Absolutely! Pam is one of a kind. I haven't met somebody so enlightened, knowledgeable and positive. Every call and interaction in between made me empowered and inspired professionally, personally and spiritually. Her sheer presence lifts you up and her skillful coaching brings clarity and focus I never had before. I am truly grateful to Pam for bringing out the best version of myself.
